My Story

Hi, my son and daughter are taking part in the children's cancer run to help support the great north children's hospital. They will run 1 Mile each.

my son Nathan was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia at 8 years old in June 2019, he has received all his treatment from this hospital and we will always be grateful for that.

the treatment for Nathan has been over 3 and a half years, his first year was particular rough with harsh chemos and lots of hospital stays, he's currently in maintenance and doing better but has long term side effects such as his mobility and memory loss.

his sister Chloe's life has been severely affected as well helping her brother and missing out on every day things we can no longer do, our lives literally go day by day 

any money raised goes towards finding treatments for childhood cancer 🙏

I am taking part in the 2021 Children's Cancer Run to help make life better for children with cancer. I'll be taking on this muddy fun run to raise money for children diagnosed with cancer in the North East and Cumbria. All of the money I raise will help to fund research to find kinder treatments and will help make life a little better for children while they receive treatment at Great North Children's Hospital.
